Alexis focuses her practice on the healthcare industry, advising clients on transactional matters, mergers, acquisitions and regulatory compliance matters. She works with a variety of healthcare providers, including ambulatory surgical centers, dental services organizations (DSOs) and physician group practices among others, as well as lenders in transactions involving borrowers in the healthcare industry. In this capacity, she has assisted in drafting purchase agreements, merger agreements, operating agreements, management agreements, employment agreements and compliance policies.

While earning her law degree at Duke University School of Law, Alexis served as Online Editor of the Duke Law Journal and as judicial intern for the Honorable Paul M. Newby on the North Carolina Supreme Court. Prior to law school, Alexis obtained her bachelor’s degrees from North Carolina State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with University Honors.
