Caroline focuses her practice on insolvency, restructuring, and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Caroline served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kent A. Jordan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Honorable J. Frederick Motz of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. 

Caroline also has experience as a litigation associate at a national law firm in Washington D.C.  Her clients included financial institutions and municipalities. 

In law school at the University of Virginia, Caroline was a member of the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review.  She also served as a teaching assistant for the mandatory legal research and writing course and was a member of the Appellate Litigation Clinic.  In addition to receiving her JD, Caroline earned a Master’s Degree in legal history. At graduation, she was awarded the Thomas Marshall Miller Prize, an honor selected by the faculty for an outstanding and deserving member of the graduating class.
