Lindsay focuses her practice on corporate, securities and regulatory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings and Securities and Exchange Commission reporting compliance.  Her practice also includes general corporate representation, including negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts and advising clients on corporate governance matters.

While earning her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, Lindsay was honored as a member of the Order of Barristers and captain of the National Trial Team and a Board Member of Moot Court. As an undergraduate at the College of Wooster, she received an Academic and Achievement Award Scholarship and was a member of both Phi Alpha Theta, the History Honor Society, and Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society.

Represented Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. as underwriter's counsel in a $25 million public offering in connection with the conversion of a mutual holding company to the stock holding company form of organization.

Represented a North Carolina bank holding company in its $77 million acquisition of a publicly-traded savings and loan holding company and its subsidiary thrift via a cash and stock merger.

Represented a financial services holding company in the sale of its insurance agency subsidiary in an all-cash transaction.

Represented a real estate private equity fund in the sale of numerous investment properties.
