Mirlande focuses her practice on representing banks, private equity funds and other investors on a variety of debt finance transactions, including secured and unsecured, syndicated and bilateral, revolving and term credit facilities. Her lending experience includes investment grade financings and leveraged financings, including leveraged buyouts. She counsels clients who lend to, or invest in, companies in a broad range of industries, including the healthcare, manufacturing, technology, retail and other sectors.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Mirlande practiced in the corporate department of a New York-based international law firm.

Represented the administrative agent in connection with a $41 million senior secured credit facility to finance a private equity sponsor’s acquisition of a marketer to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Represented the administrative agent in connection with a $20 million senior secured term loan facility to finance capital expenditures and other general corporate needs of a provider of healthcare management services.

Represented the administrative agent and lead arranger in connection with a $150 million senior secured revolving subscription credit facility provided to two affiliated private equity funds.

Represented the administrative agent and lead arranger in connection with a $29 million senior secured credit facility to finance a private equity sponsor’s acquisition of a provider of primary and surgical eye care services.

Represented the administrative agent in connection with a $60 million senior secured asset based revolving facility to refinance existing debt and finance other general corporate needs of a telecommunication company.

Represented the administrative agent and lead arranger in connection with a $55 million senior secured credit facility to finance a private equity sponsor’s acquisition of a network of affiliated dental practices.

Represented an institutional investor in connection with an $8 million bilateral senior secured term loan facility to finance general corporate needs of a producer of technology for engine diagnostic and driving data services.

Represented the administrative agent and lead arranger in connection with a $700 million syndicated revolving loan facility to refinance existing debt and finance working capital and other general corporate needs of an international insurance company.

Represented the administrative agent and lead arranger in connection with a $500 million syndicated revolving loan facility to finance general corporate needs of an automobile manufacturer.

Represented the lender in connection with a $50 million bilateral revolving loan facility to finance general corporate needs of an operator of a container terminal.
