Brittney E. Wozniak Associate

Brittney concentrates her practice on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing for retail, office, industrial and institutional properties.

Brittney is experienced in drafting and negotiating real property purchase and sale agreements, leases, subleases and other real estate-related contracts. She counsels clients on real estate development and land use matters, as well as title and survey issues.  Brittney regularly negotiates the real estate components of corporate, healthcare and private equity deals, including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions along with credit facilities, financings and refinancings. 

Brittney’s practice also includes advising publicly traded and privately held energy companies on matters involving acquisitions and dispositions of mineral, leasehold, pipeline, and other real estate interests. She has experience with mineral conveyancing, regulatory matters, gas gathering agreements, participation agreements, operating agreements, pipeline right-of-way agreements, oil and gas leases, and other documents associated with natural gas operations.

Brittney also has experience in litigation matters involving real estate disputes and oil and gas lease disputes.

Brittney is part of the firm’s autonomous vehicle team and is experienced in autonomous vehicle permitting and commercial agreements.

Brittney’s civic involvement includes work with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra where she serves as the vice chairperson of the New Leadership Council and the co-chairperson of the Young Professionals Club.

Representation of a Fortune 150 company in connection with the acquisition of a multi-billion dollar oil and gas refinery and distribution system.

Representation of a publicly traded marketing, logistics and refining company in its acquisition of 13 retail convenience stores and gas stations in Minnesota.
