Heather is a trial lawyer who primarily focuses her practice on defending healthcare providers in cases of alleged medical malpractice and professional licensing matters. Her practice also includes defense of general liability personal injury cases, contractual disputes, products liability, toxic torts, insurance coverage and appellate practice.

While earning her law degree from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, Heather was a member of the ABA Moot Court Team, the Spong Invitational Moot Court Team and the National Trial Team. She was also a member of the Order of Barristers.

Heather served as an adjunct professor at her law school alma mater in 2006 and 2010, teaching trial advocacy.
