Lauren applies an impressive intellect, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye for clever solutions to her varied and growing practice in product liability and commercial disputes at trial. Prior to joining the firm, Lauren practiced law at a law firm in Dallas, Texas, where she represented clients before state and federal courts and in arbitration in a variety of areas, including automotive products liability cases from discovery management to trial preparation.

While pursuing her law degree at the University of San Francisco School of Law, Lauren participated in the Megan Furth Child Advocacy Clinic and received a CALI Award for Excellence in Family Law. She also completed a judicial externship for the Honorable James R. Lambden of the California Court of Appeal, and completed an internship with the Division of Environment and Natural Resources, U.S. Department of Justice.

National coordinating counsel for design engineering firm in asbestos actions, including coordination of discovery and depositions, expert development, and trial strategy and preparation.

Representation of national automotive component parts manufacturer in three products liability trials in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, California in 2011 and 2012. Each case was resolved favorably during trial.

Representation of two national paint companies in numerous products liability cases concerning the historic use of asbestos in paint and texture products.

Representation of national automotive component parts manufacturer in an appeal before the Court of Appeal of California, Second Appellate District, Division Three, resulting in a published opinion affirming the trial court's post-verdict rulings.

Representation of health care company in development of several multi-million dollar regional surgery centers. This long-term engagement involved the negotiation of numerous contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, partnership agreements, corporate formation documents, dissolution agreements, private offerings, and stock redemptions.
