Samuel T. Winters Associate

Sam practices labor and employment law, where he represents employers on a number of workplace issues.

He is an advisor and litigator with primary focuses on issues involving the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 (Title VII), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family and Medical Leave act (FMLA), the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), and numerous state labor and employment laws.

During his time at Northwestern University School of Law, Sam worked in the Entrepreneurial Law Center, where he helped clients start businesses and non-profit corporations. He also served as the President of the Northwestern Student Bar Association. As an undergraduate, Sam was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society and graduated the University of Wisconsin – Madison with Highest Distinction.
