Sarah M. Wolfe VP, State Gov. Relations McGuireWoods Consulting LLC

Sarah is an assistant vice president in the State Government Relations Group where she helps clients achieve their government affairs goals. Since joining the firm in 2012, Sarah has developed a deep understanding of the North Carolina legislative process, and is well-versed in a broad range of legislative issues, but specifically in education, healthcare, and transportation policy.

Aside from representing clients before the legislative and executive branches in the state, Sarah has extensive experience working with coalitions and trade associations in order to promote her clients’ government relations strategies. Additionally, Sarah provides in-depth policy analysis and research to clients, and manages Raleigh’s legislative bill tracking system.

Sarah, a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, served as an intern to then-Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives Thom Tillis before joining McGuireWoods Consulting. During her time as a legislative intern, Sarah realized her passion for state government policy and politics.
