Thomas’ practice includes representing creditor and debtor clients in bankruptcy and pre-bankruptcy workout matters. Creditor representations include lending institutions, energy companies, real estate companies, and other secured and unsecured lenders. Debtor representations include a major healthcare company, a supermarket chain, and the largest auto hauling company in North America.

His practice also includes representing clients in general commercial litigation matters with a primary focus on lending litigation, collections and similar matters. He also represents lending institutions in loan workouts.

Thomas served as law clerk to the Honorable James D. Walker, Jr., U.S. bankruptcy judge.
