Thomas S. Word Jr. Counsel

Tom has practiced tax and fiduciary law and trust banking law for more than 35 years. He has extensive experience in advising families on wealth conservation and transfer programs. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and is admitted to practice in Virginia.

Tom graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS degree in 1959, and from the University of Richmond with an LLB degree in 1961. While attending the University of Richmond School of Law, he was a member of the McNeill Law Society and Omicron Delta Kappa.
