Kent’s practice focuses primarily on corporate lending, including syndicated, club and bilateral debt financings and related capital raising transactions. He has extensive experience in all phases of complex credit facilities, from structuring and documentation to distribution and syndicate management. His experience encompasses cash-flow, leveraged recapitalization, asset-based, and acquisition financings, as well as first lien and second lien and mezzanine financings, and includes transactions ranging from large corporate lending to middle market and commercial lending. Kent has represented the administrative agent and participant banks in a variety of leveraged and investment grade syndicated, club and single-bank loan transactions.

Kent was a Morehead Scholar and a member of the business school honor society Beta Gamma Sigma at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta.
