Strategies for Use of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code by Foreign Insolvency Representatives

Partner Richard Mason wrote an article titled “Strategies for Use of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code by Foreign Insolvency Representatives” that was published in the most recent issue of Insolvency and Restructuring International, a journal produced by the International Bar Association and distributed to more than 900 business insolvency lawyers throughout the world. In recent years, there has been a sharp increase in the number of ancillary bankruptcy proceedings commenced by foreign trustees in bankruptcy, receivers, and similar insolvency representatives under Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code to assist in the administration of multi-national bankruptcies.
