First Annual Southeast Venture Conference

The Capital Markets, Technology and Business, and Corporate Services Departments co-sponsored with Bank of America and others, the First Annual Southeast Venture Conference for venture funds and technology companies. The event was held at the North Carolina Research Triangle Park Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. At the conference, Steve Keeler and Tom O'Grady moderated a panel with several venture fund principals (including Jack Biddle of Novak Biddle) and investment bankers, including the head of technology banking at Bank of America, on return expectations and exit alternatives for venture-financed technology companies. Tom Donaldson also attended.
