2010 Southeast Venture Conference

Partner Steven J. Keeler was the 2010 conference chair of the Fourth Annual Southeast Venture Conference (SEVC) held Feb. 24-25, 2010, at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner. Partner Michael J. Schewel moderated a panel on renewable energy, and partner John H. Williamson headed a panel on government contracting. Keeler was recently quoted in a conference announcement regarding the 2010 outlook for venture capital investment in health care, life sciences, clean tech and government contracting.

The SEVC featured 70 high growth presenting companies ranging from early stage to later stage pre-IPO firms representing the Southeast and mid-Atlantic regions, and has an expected audience of 700+ venture capital and private equity investors, investment bankers, company executives and entrepreneurs. Keynote speakers included Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales and Google’s "Father of the Internet" Vint Cerf.
