Peter del Vecchio, Cameron Prell and Mike Wilson presented at the Due Diligence for Solar PV Projects Seminar, June 14-15, in Baltimore, Maryland. The seminar focused on the core areas of due diligence and implementation plans for photovoltaic (PV) projects.
The McGuireWoods team led a half-day post conference workshop titled, “Project Finance and Ownership Structuring for Solar PV Transaction.” They provided a snapshot of the current Solar PV market as well as a review of major events in the solar PV industry since 2009 that have affected project financing of these projects. They also discussed the evolution of the solar PV business model, factors affecting solar PV market penetration, environmental impacts on solar PV finance and typical project financing arrangements and ownership structures used in the solar PV market.
