Associate Colin P. McCarthy provided a “Year in Review” at the Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues hosted by the American Health Lawyers Association.
This event brought together knowledgeable public and private sector speakers with CMS and other agency representatives. Presentations addressed current payment issues and anticipated changes based on the new Administration’s priorities, with over 20 sessions featuring government speakers from CMS, Office of General Counsel, Office of Counsel to the Inspector General and 10 new topics. Attendees were able to network with colleagues, including in-house and outside counsel, reimbursement specialists, accountants, government employees, and others.
