Former U.S. Senator Evan Bayh, a partner in McGuireWoods’ Washington office, was featured on CBS’ “60 Minutes” November 4, 2012, during the segment “Is the U.S. Senate Broken?” Along with Steve Kroft’s interview with Senator Bayh, the piece also featured interviews with Senator Tom Coburn and Senator Olympia Snowe, and a joint interview with Senators Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell.
The idea for the piece was inspired by Senator Bayh’s Feb. 20, 2010, New York Times op-ed titled “Why I’m Leaving the Senate.”
