On May 9, the Brussels office and the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium organized a roundtable discussion on Brexit, hosted at McGuireWoods. Following a presentation by André Sapir of Bruegel, discussion turned to practical and commercial issues arising out of Brexit, as well as the future direction of the EU/UK talks and possible outcomes.
Bruegel is a major independent European think tank that specializes in economics and policy research covering a range of hot topics worldwide. Sapir co-authored the well-known paper “Europe after Brexit: A proposal for a continental partnership,” published soon after the UK referendum on Brexit in August 2016.
