Bloomberg Law, Law360 and the Los Angeles Daily Journal were among the media outlets that covered partner Tanya L. Greene’s recent arrival at McGuireWoods in downtown Los Angeles.
Greene joined the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation Department, bringing experience leading business litigation matters for Fortune 100 clients in heavily regulated industries, including finance, technology, aerospace and petroleum.
“The firm has a reputation for excellence in high-stakes litigation and investigations and delivering comprehensive, integrated services to financial institution clients,” Greene told Law360. “Those strengths are in line with my own areas of focus, so there is great potential there.”
In a profile published in the Daily Journal, Greene described her development as a litigator and how her focus on client service became the foundation of her work. While she faced high client expectations as a young trial lawyer, she said, “what helped me most was taking the time to build relationships with my clients and to really understand their businesses and the pressures they face. Developing that understanding has been essential to being an effective advocate and trusted adviser.”
