The Los Angeles Daily Journal covered the recent victory by McGuireWoods litigators for defense contractor Teledyne RISI in a malicious prosecution lawsuit brought by Martin-Baker Aircraft Co. The Daily Journal featured the case in it Nov. 6, 2020, “Verdicts & Settlements” section.
Martin-Baker sued Teledyne in response to a previous breach-of-contract dispute between the companies. The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Oct. 6, 2020, granted Teledyne’s special motion to strike the complaint under California’s anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation) statute.
