McGuireWoods sponsored and participated in the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity Conference 2020, held virtually Aug. 25-27.
McGuireWoods partner Joan Dinsmore of Raleigh served on the planning committee for the conference, whose theme this year was “Activating the Triangle.” Conference attendees, including 30 from McGuireWoods, heard directly from area leaders who are driving the effort to foster diversity, equity and inclusivity within their organizations.
McGuireWoods Raleigh associate Jocelyn Mitnaul Mallette was a panel speaker for an Aug. 25 session, “Emerging Talent in the Workforce,” featuring recent entrants to the workforce sharing their experiences and insights. Raleigh associate Lawrence Cameron gave brief remarks between sessions on Aug. 27, discussing McGuireWoods’ commitment to diversity and introducing the next speaker.
