Our Charlottesville office has been awarded the Children, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) “Family Friendly Employer” Award for the Charlottesville area. Associate Suzanne Bednar nominated the firm. CYFS officials presented the award to Charlottesville managing partner Craig Wood on Feb. 26, and a public award will be presented on April 21. CYFS stated it is impressed by the firm’s family friendly policies such as liberal family leave and child care coverage policy. McGuireWoods is considered a long-standing leader in the Charlottesville business community in promoting an innovative and progressive workplace.
