McGuireWoods sponsored the Second Annual American Girl Fashion Show®, held on March 23 and 24 to benefit Cool Kids Campaign and University of Maryland Children’s Hospital – two nonprofit organizations focused on helping sick children and their families.
More than 250 young girls participated as models with their American Girl Dolls, including Sadie Van Horn, the daughter of partner Jim Van Horn, and Lucia Ayala, daughter of partner Elena Marcuss. The young models alone raised more than $54,000 to support the organizations, and the total amount raised from the event exceeded $100,000. We thank everyone who attended and helped to make this year’s event as success.
Baltimore partner Jennifer Stearman serves as chair of the board for the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital.
