McGuireWoods’ Howard Feller Elected to Chair American Bar Association Antitrust Section in 2014

McGuireWoods LLP today announced that Howard Feller, chair of the firm’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Department, was elected at the American Bar Association’s annual meeting in August to serve as chair-elect of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law. Feller will become chair of the ABA Antitrust Section in August 2014.

Feller previously served in the ABA Antitrust Section as vice chair, finance officer, secretary, communications officer, chair of the Program Committee, co-chair of the Sherman Act Section 1 Committee and chair of the Health Care Committee. He is also a past editor of both the Section 1 newsletter and the Antitrust Health Care Chronicle, published by the ABA Antitrust Section. He is a past chair of the Antitrust Section of the Virginia State Bar.

Feller concentrates his practice on antitrust litigation, criminal antitrust investigations, antitrust merger investigations, antitrust business counseling, commercial litigation, and franchising and distribution matters. He also represents clients before federal and state antitrust enforcement agencies. He has worked extensively on antitrust issues in diverse industries and has substantial experience in conducting antitrust audits and compliance training.

The ABA Antitrust Section is a professional organization for those interested in the fields of antitrust and competition law, trade regulation, consumer protection and economics. Its more than 7,000 members include attorneys and non-lawyers from private law firms, in-house counsel, nonprofit organizations, consulting firms, federal and state government agencies, as well as judges, professors and law students.
