September 11, 2013

McGuireWoods Consulting recently teamed with Business Forward, a pro-business nonprofit organization working in conjunction with the White House, to host a business leaders’ roundtable at MWC’s Richmond offices. The roundtable discussion focused on a city of Richmond and Chesterfield County community development project that has received considerable federal funding support.

U.S. Deputy Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Maurice Jones and Under Secretary of Transportation for Policy Polly Trottenberg joined more than 40 Richmond-area business and government leaders to discuss the economic development, transportation and housing elements of the project designed to transform a 4.5-mile stretch of the Hull Street corridor, which includes sections in the city and county.

The event was organized by Preston Bryant, McGuireWoods Consulting senior vice president in the Infrastructure and Economic Development group.
