Best Lawyers Names 23 McGuireWoods Partners ‘Lawyers of the Year’

August 19, 2014

Twenty-three McGuireWoods LLP partners from six offices have been named 2015 “Lawyers of the Year” by The Best Lawyers in America, an honor afforded to only one lawyer in each category per city.

In addition, 196 McGuireWoods lawyers, across all 18 of the firm’s U.S. offices, were selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for 2015. Notably, 18 of the firm’s lawyers were listed in the practice area of Banking and Finance Law, the most of any firm in the nation.

In Virginia, McGuireWoods had the most lawyers listed in 15 practice areas, including Bet-the-Company Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Energy Law and Healthcare Law.
