“We are delighted to attract an accomplished dealmaker with such a rich and varied practice,” said Richard W. Viola, chairman of the firm’s Securities

consumer products industries.
“I love the art and challenge of high-end deal making, and McGuireWoods is a great platform for me to continue to expand my practice,” Goldsamt said. “The
firm is known for its commitment to providing the highest level of service to clients. I look forward to working with lawyers who share my passion for
helping clients build their businesses and, in particular, I look forward to working with New York partners Stephen Older and Jeff Rothschild, both of whom
I had previously worked and collaborated with for many years.”

He joins a corporate practice that received a national Tier 1 ranking in Securities/Capital Markets Law in the 2015 edition of U.S. News-Best Lawyers’
