U.S. News-Best Lawyers Names McGuireWoods ‘Law Firm of the Year’ for Banking & Finance Law

Firm Earns 21 First-Tier National Rankings in ‘Best Law Firms’

McGuireWoods earned first-tier national rankings in 21 practice areas and was named “Law Firm of the Year” for Banking and Finance Law in the 2017 edition of U.S. News-Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.” McGuireWoods placed among the 25 firms with the most national Tier 1 rankings and among the 10 U.S. firms with the most metropolitan Tier 1 rankings in the annual report, which is based on client feedback and peer reviews.

This is the third consecutive year in which McGuireWoods has been singled out as a leader in banking and finance by “Best Law Firms.” The firm was named “Law Firm of the Year” for Banking and Finance Litigation in 2016 and “Law Firm of the Year” for Banking and Finance Law in 2015, underscoring McGuireWoods’ well-established strength in advising financial institutions in corporate and litigation matters.
