Top Commercial Real Estate Lawyer William Harris Joins McGuireWoods as Partner in Charlotte

William N. Harris, an accomplished real estate lawyer with extensive experience handling major commercial property transactions, has joined McGuireWoods as a partner in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina, office.

Harris advises clients in the acquisition, development, financing and sale of office, retail, mixed-use and multifamily properties, and he assists companies with commercial leases. He represents developers, lenders, investors and business tenants in real estate projects in the Charlotte market and nationwide. His practice has included representing developers of retail “power centers” and single-tenant retail stores, and assisting lending institutions with the disposition of their owned real estate. Harris advises corporate clients on real estate matters and serves as local counsel to institutional owners of local properties.

Best Lawyers in America has recognized Harris for real estate law annually since 2009. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP) through the Green Building Certification Institute. He comes to McGuireWoods from K&L Gates.
