October 18, 2017

The Legal 500 UK recognized McGuireWoods London as a leading law firm in seven practice areas, continuing the firm’s strong showing in the esteemed guide to the top firms in the United Kingdom.

For the second year in a row, McGuireWoods London earned the highest possible ranking — Tier 1 — in Corporate and Commercial M&A for deals up to £50 million. The guide noted the firm’s role in several major deals over the past year, including Highlander Partners’ acquisition of Fuerst Day Lawson Holdings and Arlington Investors’ purchase of two college student residence portfolios.

Recognition in Legal 500 UK, based on feedback from clients and firm lawyers’ work, further affirms McGuireWoods’ corporate and M&A rankings earlier this year in Legal 500 U.S. and Legal 500 Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Also, for the second consecutive year, Legal 500 UK ranked the firm for its highly regarded Private Wealth Services Group. The ranking in the UK guide’s Private Client-Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate category comes after the firm earned the top U.S. ranking in Chambers and Partners’ High Net Worth Guide in back-to-back years.

Nahal was one of 19 McGuireWoods London lawyers recommended individually in the 2017 guide.
