October 6, 2020

McGuireWoods attorney Justin Yedor has been named to The Recorder’s 2020 California Trailblazers list, honoring legal professionals for significant contributions in their areas of law. He is profiled in a special issue of The Recorder, an American Lawyer Media publication, as a go-to adviser on California data privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Yedor practices in McGuireWoods’ Los Angeles offices, where he represents clients on thorny data privacy and information security matters and helps businesses nationwide navigate the new regulatory framework under the CCPA. He has counseled dozens of companies on adopting compliance plans for their collection and sharing of consumer data through websites, mobile apps or other business channels.

“I am honored to have been selected for this prestigious recognition alongside such accomplished lawyers,” Yedor said.

Yedor serves on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Privacy and Cybersecurity Section. He also holds the CIPP/US credential as a Certified Information Privacy Professional from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and is a regular contributor to McGuireWoods’ data privacy blog, Password Protected.
