McGuireWoods’ Valyce Davis to Join Dominion Energy

November 25, 2020

Valyce Davis, an associate in McGuireWoods’ Products, Environmental & Mass Tort Litigation Department in Raleigh, will join client Dominion Energy as counsel on Dec. 1, 2020. Her new role will support Dominion’s litigation needs in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

During her time at McGuireWoods, Davis focused her practice on representing businesses in a variety of litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, she interned and clerked for the Honorable Cheri Beasley, now Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court.

“I am grateful for the tremendous opportunities for professional and personal growth that I have been afforded during my four years at McGuireWoods,” Davis said. “It is the people that make this firm a wonderful place to work, and I look forward to staying in touch as an alumna of the McGuireWoods family.”

“We will miss Valyce, her positive energy and her many contributions to the team,” said Diane Flannery, chair of the Products, Environmental & Mass Tort Litigation Department. “We wish her all the best and look forward to working with her in her new role at Dominion Energy.”
