Tim Loveland, an associate in McGuireWoods’ Chicago office, will join Hologic Inc. this month as a director and corporate counsel. In his new role, Loveland will advise on strategic initiatives, commercial contracting and regulatory matters for Hologic’s Breast and Skeletal Health Division. His last day at the firm is Nov. 19, 2021.
After joining the firm in 2017, Loveland focused his practice on healthcare regulatory and enforcement matters and other healthcare-related areas.
“I had the pleasure of working with and learning from exceptionally talented attorneys during my time with McGuireWoods,” Loveland said. “I am grateful for the relationships I developed with many colleagues that made my experience so rewarding and for their continued support and encouragement as I look forward to this next chapter in my career.”
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Loveland worked as a healthcare consultant and advised hospitals and health systems in the development and operational integration of new hospitals, freestanding emergency departments and post-acute venues. He also worked as a law clerk for the American Medical Association updating physician compliance guidelines to ensure consistency with applicable law.
