McGuireWoods Los Angeles partner Bethany Gayle Lukitsch has been recognized on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Women of Influence: Attorneys” list for 2021. Honorees were selected for exceptional legal skill and achievement, exemplary leadership and contributions to the Los Angeles community.
With more than 20 years of experience litigating class actions and complex litigation, Lukitsch co-chairs the firm's class action practice and is the litigation subgroup lead on the data privacy and security team. Over the past year, she has helped national retailers, financial institutions and global product manufacturer clients defend against novel class actions arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and other high-stakes litigation.
A nationally recognized thought leader on class action litigation issues, she regularly contributes to McGuireWoods’ Password Protected and Class Action Countermeasures blogs and co-authored the chapter on class actions in the timely 2021 American Bar Association publication, “Infectious Disease Litigation: Science, Law & Procedure.”
“It is an honor to be in the company of so many accomplished lawyers and gratifying to be recognized again for helping clients achieve their business objectives,” said Lukitsch, who was included on the LABJ’s 2020 list of "Top Women Attorneys.”
“Bethany’s recognition is well deserved and reinforces her position as a leader in the LA legal community,” added Hamid Namazie, managing partner of McGuireWoods’ downtown Los Angeles office.
