The Institute for Energy Law (IEL) has selected McGuireWoods San Francisco
Kim Stouffer for its 2021-2022 Leadership Class. IEL’s Leadership Class is designed
primarily for professionals who have practiced in the energy field between
three and 12 years, enabling them to increase their knowledge and develop
leadership skills for success as energy professionals.
Stouffer is a strategic adviser representing clients in all aspects of the
development, financing, and acquisition and sale of renewable energy
projects throughout North America.
“We are not surprised that IEL selected Kim for this prestigious program,”
Brian Kelly, who leads McGuireWoods’ energy industry team. “Her in-depth understanding
of the renewable energy market will make her an insightful contributor to
the Leadership Class.”
“I am excited to join this year’s class and look forward to enhancing my
knowledge of the industry to better serve energy clients,” said Stouffer.
Lawyers on McGuireWoods’ multidisciplinary energy team work across sectors,
from electric and gas, to natural gas and renewable fuels, to coal and
