Tanya Greene, Yoojin Lee Honored on LABJ’s Minority Leaders of Influence List

January 31, 2022

McGuireWoods Los Angles partners Tanya Greene and Yoojin Lee were named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2022 Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys list. The annual feature profiles impactful attorneys who are trusted advisers in the Los Angeles region.

Greene, who joined McGuireWoods in 2019, is a respected litigator, diversity and pro bono leader, and mentor. She handles high-profile litigation for some of the most prominent corporations in the world, including Fortune 100 companies.

Greene was recognized in part for her pro bono work in a multiplaintiff lawsuit in which she helped challenge practices by the city of Los Angeles related to the confiscation and disposal of homeless individuals’ belongings.

“It’s an honor to be recognized with amazing attorneys who have distinguished themselves as lawyers and community leaders,” Greene said.

The LABJ recognized Lee for her work representing financial institutions across industries in domestic and international secured lending transactions, with an emphasis on asset-based lending deals.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods’ debt finance team in 2014, she practiced law in Seoul, South Korea, where she handled cross-border mergers and acquisitions and project financing transactions.

“I am thrilled to be included in this talented group of honorees,” Lee said. “I’m also grateful to my McGuireWoods colleagues for their friendship and support.”
