Rubin Pusha III, an accomplished deal lawyer who represents healthcare industry clients and investors in transactional matters, has joined McGuireWoods’ nationally recognized healthcare practice as a partner in Chicago.*
Pusha handles mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other transactions. He counsels clients on matters related to corporate governance and compliance with government regulations, including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law. Pusha also advises private equity-backed healthcare companies in strategic acquisitions.

Pusha was selected for inclusion on Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” list recognizing attorneys for professional excellence. He also was named to The National Black Lawyers’ “Top 40 Under 40” list. Pusha earned his law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and he sits on the school’s alumni board.
