McGuireWoods has relocated its Houston office to Texas Tower, a new 47-story, 1-million-square-foot office tower on the 800 block of Texas Avenue.

Located close to the Central Business District, Theater District and Historic District, the building meets the LEED Platinum, WiredScore and WELLBuilding standards.

“This move enables us to meet the growing needs of the firm and our clients,” said Houston office managing partner Yasser Madriz. “We look forward to expanding in this dynamic new space that will allow us to continue providing top-level service in Houston and beyond.”

McGuireWoods’ Houston office represents local, national and international clients, including some of the top energy companies in the world and Fortune 500 leaders. The office’s strengths include commercial and securities litigation; international arbitration; restructuring and insolvency; labor and employment; trade secret litigation; and IP litigation and patents.

The Houston office has experienced significant growth in recent months, with the additions of restructuring and insolvency partner Demetra Liggins, M&A partners Edmund Daniels and Jude LeBlanc, private equity partner Garrett Johnston, labor and employment partner Jason Huebinger, and healthcare partner Jonathan Ishee.
