Usha focuses her practice on debt finance, representing lenders, sponsors, and borrowers in variety of transactions including syndicated loans and acquisition financing.
Usha is a native of India. She earned her BA, BL (Hons.) from NALSAR (National Academy of Legal Studies and Research) University of Law in Hyderabad, India and was admitted to Bar Council of Delhi. She was awarded Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship to attend the LLM program at McGill University, Montreal, Canada where she specialized in Air and Space Law and interned with the International Civil Aviation Organization (UN specialized agency). Usha authored several legal papers in Aviation Law that were published in American and International law journals. In addition, Usha was awarded Huygens Scholarship by the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC) and Delta Scholarship by Leiden University to pursue Master of Laws. After returning to India, she practiced law as In-House Counsel at GMR International Airports Ltd., Hyderabad.
Upon moving to the U.S., Usha obtained LLM from Washington University at St. Louis and JD from DePaul University College of Law, Chicago.
