With judicial clerkship experience, Latrice focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters, with a passion for Intellectual Property. Latrice has significant experience with state and federal courts. Latrice primarily defends corporate clients, including banks and financial institutions. Latrice is a champion for Diversity and Inclusion.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Latrice served as a judicial law clerk to Senior United States District Judge Alvin W. Thompson for the District of Connecticut. Latrice received her J.D. from the University of Southern California (USC) Gould School of Law. While there, Latrice served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Andre Birotte, Jr., District Judge for the Central District of California. She also served as an extern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. Latrice was the Founding Member and former co-President of USC Womxn of Color Collective (WOCC)1, an organization dedicated to talking about and tackling the issues specific to women of color in the legal field. Also, while at Gould, Latrice served as research assistant (RA) and teaching apprentice (TA) for renowned Constitutional Law scholar and former clerk to Supreme Court Justices John Paul Stevens and Anthony Kennedy, Professor Samuel Erman.
