Robert E. Bittner Partner

Robert practices in the area of general real estate law, with a concentration in commercial real estate transactions, commercial development, zoning and land use, financing, commercial lending transactions, and office, industrial and retail lease negotiations.

He has represented owners, sellers, buyers and developers in a variety of HUD related refinancing and restructuring transactions. He has represented developers, lenders, retail companies, landlords and tenants in many aspects of real estate financing, leasing, acquisition, disposition and development. His experience includes negotiating and completing numerous real estate acquisitions and sales, real estate development projects and leasing transactions.

As an undergraduate at Edinboro University, he was a member of the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity, Kappa Beta Chapter.


Representation of several owners and operators in the refinancing of HUD-insured projects under various HUD loan programs, including sections 221(d)(3), 223(a)(7), 223(d)(4), 223(f), 232 and 236.

Representation of various landlords and tenants in the leasing of office and retail space throughout Pennsylvania and elsewhere and the resolution of various landlord and tenant disputes.

Real estate counsel for a regional multi-family developer and operator in the out-of-court restructuring and disposition of its real estate portfolio located through the Mid-Atlantic region.
