Katherine C. Cienkus Associate

Katherine is an associate in the Government Investigations & White Collar Litigation department. Her practice focuses on representing corporate and individual clients with all stages of government investigations, civil litigation, and white collar defense. She utilizes her international experience to help clients navigate cross-border challenges.

Katherine is an associate in the Government Investigations & White Collar Litigation department. Her practice focuses on representing corporate and individual clients with all stages of government investigations, civil litigation, and white collar defense. She utilizes her international experience to help clients navigate cross-border challenges. Katherine earned her law degree from Notre Dame Law School where she was a member of the Exoneration Project, the Family Law Mediation Clinic and a fellow for the Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights. She served as the executive articles editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. Katherine was a recipient of the Law School Champion of Justice Award and the Whitton Prize for Excellence in Labor Law.

Katherine was a visiting student at the University of Oxford, Pembroke College from 2016-2017. She spent her last semester of law school in central London as part of Notre Dame’s London Law Program, where she completed externships with legal nonprofit JUSTICE and McGuireWoods London LLP.

Prior to law school, Katherine worked at a boutique appellate litigation firm in Washington, D.C. and worked as an intern for a House Representative on Capitol Hill.
