Brittney L. Difato Associate

Brittney represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters, with a focus on appellate and class action litigation in the financial services industry.

Her substantive areas of concentration include claims arising out of consumer protection statutes, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), as well as state laws governing unfair trade practices and mortgage-related disputes.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Brittney clerked for a federal judge in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She also participated in the prestigious Federal Bureau of Investigation Honors Internship Program.
