Jeremy Davis Partner

Jeremy practices in the area of general corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and joint ventures. In particular, he has considerable experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions involving US clients' investment in Europe and acting for multi-nationals expanding their businesses across Europe.

Jeremy advises clients in a broad range of industries, including metals, packaging, manufacturing, information technology, recruitment and oil field services. He has advised clients ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations.

Jeremy qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and joined the firm in 2017 from the London office of an international law firm. He is regularly recognized by legal directories, including Legal 500 and Chambers in the areas of M&A and corporate finance where he has been described as a "corporate lawyer with great finesse" and "a strong negotiator with very good analytical skills."


Advised a global leader in the lubricant and fuel additive market and wholly owned subsidiary of a NYSE publicly traded corporation on the U.K. aspects of its sale of its metalworking fluid business to an Italian-based manufacturer and distributer of performance additives.

Advised Scottish private equity firm Clyde Blowers Capital (CBC) on the U.K. aspects of an agreement to sell Cone Drive, a Michigan-based industrial gearing manufacturer, to The Timken Company.

Advising Arlington Investors on the acquisition of the Study Inn portfolio for £135 million.

Advising a Chicago based car parts company on the acquisition of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia S.p.a. (Rhiag) for a purchase price of €1.04bn. Rhiag is a leading pan-European distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Advising a Chicago based car parts company on its acquisition of Euro Car Parts for a total consideration of £280 million.

Advising a Pittsburgh specialty metals company on the European aspects of the sale of its tungsten materials business to Kennametal for $605m, as well as various acquisitions in the UK.

Advising the selling shareholders in the sale of Remedica, a leading Cypriot pharmaceutical company to Ascendis Health for Euro 335 million.    

Advising a Miami-based mobile phone distributor on the acquisition of 20:20 Mobile in multiple European jurisdictions.

Advising a Spanish packaging company on its acquisition of Amcor's European PET business for approximately €430 million and on its acquisition of AdvanSa for Euro 320 million.

Advising a consortium of companies on the sale of Devonport Management Limited for £350 million.

Advising the majority shareholder on the sale of Bestinvest to 3i.

Advising a leading Houston oil field services company on the acquisition of PSL Energy Services Limited and its subsidiaries in various jurisdictions.

Advising a California corporation on multiple acquisitions in the UK.

Advising a European Stock Exchange on its investment in Acquis Exchange Limited.
