Kevin is a senior counsel in the firm’s labor and employment department and is based in Dallas. He has represented employers in all areas of labor and employment law for over 19 years.
Kevin’s practice focuses largely on employment litigation and arbitration matters involving wage and hour disputes, enforcement and defense of violations of non-competition agreements and other restrictive covenants, and defense of employers of all sizes against claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under federal and state law. He also brings to the firm many years of experience representing employers before the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Commission on Human Rights and the Texas Workforce Commission.
In addition, Kevin counsels clients in all aspects of human resources and employment law compliance and regularly conducts training and workplace investigations for his clients.
He has represented companies and officers and directors in multiple ERISA matters involving claims of denial of benefits as well as breach of fiduciary duties regarding investments in employer stock.
While Kevin is a senior counsel in the firm’s Dallas, Texas office, he continues to maintain a presence and actively litigates matters in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is actively licensed there and has broad experience in state and federal court practice in Massachusetts, as well as representation of employers before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
