Laura focuses her practice on corporate and private equity transactions. She represents public and privately-held companies, private equity funds, and institutional investors across multiple industries in a wide range of transactional matters, including platform and add-on acquisitions, mergers, equity investments, divestitures, recapitalizations, joint ventures, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and general corporate matters.
Laura received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was actively involved with the University of Pittsburgh Law Review as both Senior Topics Editor and a Research Editor, the University of Pittsburgh Legal Analysis and Writing Program as a Teaching Assistant to Dean Nancy Burkoff, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals as a Judicial Intern under Judge D. Michael Fisher. She also received two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grade in her class in both Property Law and International Trade Law and Regulation. Laura received her undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, where she graduated from the Honors Specialization Program.
