Robert S. Day Associate

Robert represents companies and individuals in government investigations and complex litigation. He’s counseled clients facing inquiries from the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, state attorneys general, and various other government agencies. Robert also has experience handling complex litigation matters for financial institutions, manufacturers, and pharmaceutical companies.

Before joining McGuireWoods, Robert served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael F. Urbanski of the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.  He also worked as a litigation and investigations associate at a national law firm in Washington, D.C.

Robert prioritizes learning about his clients’ business and developing legal strategies based on that understanding.  He works to be a subject-matter expert in complex legal and factual contexts and applies that knowledge in serving his clients’ needs.
