Alison focuses on her practice on financial services litigation, leveraging her experience in federal and state courts to represent clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Alison served as a law clerk to the Honorable Darren T. DiBiasi of the Bergen County Superior Court in New Jersey. She also practiced at a firm in Richmond, Virginia. There, she represented corporate clients in civil litigation matters in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on defense of premises liability claims.
Alison received her undergraduate degree in public policy, with a minor in accounting, from the College of William & Mary, where she graduated magna cum laude. She then earned her law degree from William & Mary Law School. During law school, Alison was a research assistant for the Election Law Program.
