Monica Haddad Forbes Counsel

Monica primarily represents financial institutions in all phases of litigation in both federal and state courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Monica served as a trial court law clerk in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida handling matters in civil, criminal, juvenile, and family divisions of the court. Monica also gained experience while in law school through internships at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida.

While in law school, Monica was an active competitor on The Florida Moot Court Team where she won numerous awards for her oral advocacy and writing skills. She had the distinction of arguing in front of present members of the Florida Supreme Court at the annual Raymer F. Maguire, Jr. Moot Court Competition. She was also a Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy teaching assistant, a research assistant to two professors, and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy.
